Where will SKG be in 2008?
Happy New Year! 2007 was an eventful year for Secret Keeper Girl. We launched our Bod Squad Track II event and had the privilege of meeting many of you as we crossed the country on tour. 2008 promises to be equally exciting. Our Bod Squad will be heading south in February and March, to California in April, and to the Midwest in May. You can check out our complete schedule on the secret keeper girl site or contact Eileen to bring us to your town.
Our upcoming tours aren’t the only exciting SKG news. Dannah is holed up this weekend with a writing team to release four SKG fiction books this fall. Exciting! Pray for her and the writers as they seek to write entertaining works that also instill Christian values.
Consider this…girls age 8-12 are in what is considered the “golden years of writing.” They fall in love with books like no other time in their life. Then consider what they have to fall in love with. Along with Anne of Greene Gables, the Nancy Drew Series and The Secret Garden that have to navigate through many mild occultic series and books with no Christian values. Wouldn’t it be great to capture the hearts of these girls with a book that was filled with characters they loved, grappling with issues that were familiar in a way that ultimately led them to godly decisions? We think so! That’s why we’re partnering with Moody Publishers to release this fiction series!
What does 2008 hold for you? What are you looking forward to? We’d love to hear about it right here on the SKG blog. We look forward to sharing this year with you.
