Matching Up In Nacogdoches!
Posted by SKG Intern, Melanie Cherland
Y’all (yes, I picked up some vocabulary this week) what a party! Oak Grove Baptist Church has definitely earned the “most matchy matchy” award for our Texas tour. One group arrived accompanied by a flock of feather boas that left colorful decorations for us all over the church, in fact we’re still finding them in our stage decorations! Another mom and daughter told Dannah (via facebook I believe) that they had made their own t-shirts that read “I <3 my secret keeper girl” and “I <3 my secret keeper mom.” Of course we made sure they modeled them for us up on stage! It seems to me as if the whole town has a lot of flare, one of our fashion show girls did an awesome job of making one of this season’s outfit’s her own by wearing her brightly colored headbands “sweatband style,” I LOVED IT! Thanks Nacogdoches for keeping us entertained all night long!

Hi there wonderful ladies! I am guilty of spreading boa feathers myself (in Nacogdoches, oak Grove Baptist Church). Wow ! What a great event! My 2 daughters had a great time and took a lot home with them! You guys are doing a wonderful job with the youth….I commend you, and prayers are with you to continue touching those sweet girls that are approaching such an age that can be so confusing! Love the books we purchased too !!
